The allure of living in a growing city, near the mountains is a dream many of us have in today's busy world. The chance to make this dream a reality was realized by my family and myself when we moved to Colorado Springs.

Colorado Springs is located near many amenities-Garden of the Gods, biking and hiking trails, the theater, the arts, lakes, fishing, camping, and some of the best skiing in the world. About Eddie Blalock

Eddie Blalock is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a degree in Political Science and Business Management. He is currently furthering his real estate education by completing the ABR and GRI designations for residential transactions.

Eddie began his real estate career in 1997. He worked for Trinity Associates in Houston, Texas, as a property inspector. Once becoming familiar with inspection criteria, he began to evaluate properties for their investment potential for the company.

In 1998, Eddie and his brother became mortgage brokers and founded Acceptance Home Mortgage (now called Enterprise Residential Mortgage, Inc.). This company was a net-branch of the national lender, Aegis Home Loans, and is now a Countrywide Business Partner. Eddie took a year off to work for Weichert Realtors and Weichert Financial Services in Virginia before returning to the business with his brother.

Eddie began investing in rental properties in 2001. Both his personal experience as well as his helping others to purchase income property has given him insight into the commercial property market. He continues to originate and process small commercial mortgage loans, and successfully funded $1,825,000 in loans in 2005.

Eddie is also currently licensed as a real estate broker in the state of Colorado. His license is held at Heritage Realty, Inc., in Colorado Springs. He works in conjunction with the Weseman Team, which works together to market and sell properties in central Colorado. Eddie specializes in Buyer Agency Representation – which affords the highest level of protection and service to buyers.

To date, Eddie has successfully closed over 100 real estate transactions. His knowledge of investment criteria, as well as his understanding of buyers’ needs, has enabled him to become a success in his profession. In the future, Eddie hopes to expand his referral base and continue his climb in prominence in the Colorado real estate market.

My husband and I were finally ready to purchase our first home in 2003 after years of working to get our credit back to a competitive level.
