The Colorado Springs Colorado homes near Stratton Elementary School opened its doors in 1956 to K-5 grade students. The school was named after Winfield Scott Stratton, one of Colorado's early mining millionaires and known for his charitable acts. He was the owner of the Independence Mine and struck it rich on July 4, 1891. Kitty Hawk, Knob Hill, Valley Vista, and Crescent View are all subdivision near the school.

Colorado Springs homes have a new school in award winning Academy District 20, Discovery Canyon. Area subdivisions that attend Discovery Canyon include Flying Horse Ranch, Struthers Ranch, Sun Hills, and Northgate. The campus opened in August 2005 and is a unique pre-K-12 campus that focuses on science and math. They also teach math, language arts, reading, and social studies. Space and aviation science studies are integrated in as part of the curriculum as well.

Monuments Lewis Palmer High School-District 38
District 38 was started in 1874, in the TriLakes area homes, with a one room schoolhouse that served 1st-8th graders. Over the years, the district expanded until there was a need to have a separate high school. That need happened in 1957 when a new high school was built at 66 Jefferson Street in Monument, Lewis Palmer High School.
Colorado Springs homes where children would attend the high school are located in High Forest Ranch, Cherry Creek Crossing, Longview Estates, and Table Rock Ranch.
